We are incredibly grateful for the encouragement and generosity we’ve already received for this year’s First Racquet initiatives. Every contribution, big or small, strengthens our mission and reminds us how powerful a community can be when it comes together.
A huge thank-you to the owner of Lost Forest Tennis Club for their support and for giving us a new home to grow our events. We’re also grateful to A2Z Materials LLC for sponsoring $100 this year and for supporting us three years in a row.
Our two young friends, Lucas and Nolan, donated $100 and have been with us every year, your consistency and kindness mean more than you know. Sebastian Bombarde, Chevron General Manager of Subsurface Assurance and Functional Authority, generously donated $50; although he couldn’t join us due to a family gathering, he still made sure to send his support.
Francisco Salmain, who helped coach during last year’s training session, donated two boxes of brand-new grips, thank you for always giving back. We also appreciate FR members Steven Wei and Ruiti He for donating new pickleball paddles, and Ethan He for donating translating pens to support the event.
Special thanks as well to Andrew Guan, now a sophomore at Texas A&M, who has helped with multiple tournaments and training sessions and donated tennis gear and clothing. And a heartfelt thank-you to Ellen Wu and Haiqing Wu, a Chevron family who spent several years in Angola, for donating tennis shoes and clothing.
We can’t thank each of you enough. Your generosity fuels our mission and creates lasting impact for players here and abroad.
