We hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their summer breaks! To kick off this summer season, our Austin Directors recently hosted their second ever Charity Open and collected a number of donations from the community.
Directors, Dillon and Aayush, Assistant Directors, David and Kavish, and volunteer, Daniel Beckles, once again planned and ran a fantastic tournament at Round Rock High School last Sunday, June 2nd. Leading up to the event, the team took charge of every detail from securing a tournament site to creating a flyer to creating the tournament draw. The team also came together to consolidate their latest donation collections, and following the event, Dillon and Daniel were generous enough to help load the abundance of donations onto one of our advisor’s car as they made their way through town.
We are so grateful for the efforts of our Austin team, as well as the support of the Greater Austin Area community. Needless to say, we look forward to a summer filled of exciting events and updates from our two other Regional teams, Oklahoma City and the Greater Atlanta Area, as well as our team in Houston.
